A stage production may include a number of people and that the actors that you see in the limelight are just few of the individuals that make up the team. A big show, for instance, needs craftspeople, light and sound technicians, coaches, designers, artists, musical directors, ushers, and PR experts in order for the play to succeed.

Technical
This includes people who plan and construct the set. In each scene of the play, a specific set is made in order to make the stage more realistic. This is well complemented by the lighting and sound effects.

Administrative and Public relations
This includes people who work to manage the money earned by the productions. Usually, these are composed of accountants who are knowledgeable in tracing cash flow. Additionally, people who book for the venue and advertise the whole play fall under the public relations jobs. Without this team, marketing strategies and income generating options will really fail.

Support tasks
This may include coaches in acting, dancing, and singing. They work to create a more lively and dramatic set. Although the directors can do similar tasks, these people can make the scene even more striking. The members of the support staff usually work in a contractual basis. The backstage props men, labourers, ushers, ticket sellers, and people who do manual work are also part of this group.

Indeed, theatre is a composed of a huge team pool of people who are experts in their own crafts.
